We will have fins and paddles for fitting at practice (at the Y) Monday and Tuesday until about 6pm. Parents do not need to come in – we will fit the kids as they arrive on deck for practice and send home order form.  It is helpful if swimmers know their shoe size.

10 & U only - Recommended for all 10 & under USS swimmers as a DON'T MISS meet. Good for first-time competitors to swim as well. 25 yd course. Swim age as of May 31, 2008. For those able to swim the strokes, 6&U and 7/8 will swim relays and 25 yds of each stroke. For 9/10's they will swim relays and 50 fr, Bk, Br and 100IM. Swimming the width of their beautiful Olympic size pool; up to 10 lanes will be used, depending on the number of entries. The bubble will be down – outdoor pool rain or shine. Bring deck chairs for swimmers and spectators.

12 & Under – Dual meet against Wilton Y Wahoos. Great meet for new and experienced 12 & Under Swimmers. Swim your age as of June 19. The pool will be set up as a 25 yard course. Events are 25’s, 50’s, and 100’s of each stroke, plus 100IM. Limit of 3 individual events per swimmer, plus relays. No entry fee.

YMCA swimmers with prior meet experience.  Mako is hosting a YMCA-only invitational. Min. distance is 50 meters; swim as 12/Under or 13/Over based on your age as of July 12, 2008; no upper or lower age limit. The meet is a closed inter-association YMCA meet with sanctioning from the YMCA of USA. Open to all YMCA teams, subject to meet capacity.  Sat AM is the 4 X 50's, the 200IM and an open 400 free relay, Sat pm and Sun am are a mix of 100's, 200's, 400's.  Entry fees apply and you may swim a max of 4 events per day; this may be cut to 3 events in the meet is oversubscribed.
