The Mako Parent Committee and coaches will host a general parent meeting; each NEW family must attend one of these meetings at the Brookfield Town Hall room 133 on April 28, 2010 or April 29, 2010, both run from 7-8:30pm. The meeting is geared towards new families, returning swim families are welcome to attend.

 End of year celebration for all team members. Buffet Dinner including salad, beef, pasta, chicken nuggets, seasonal vegetables and french fries plus soft drinks, coffee and dessert Raffle and Silent Auction, Yearbook Distribution, Awards Presentation. RSVP required by Saturday, April 17, 2010. Full Details. Mako swimmers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Non-Mako attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Suit & Apparel Fittings
The team apparel and team suit fitting will be held at the Y from 3:45-6:15 PM in the racquet ball courts. This will include suits, warm-ups, and gear from MetroSwimShop as well as custom apparel such as t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts arranged by our team. Suit and apparel orders (with payments) can be turned in until Sat., May 8 at 11:00 AM in the team mail box if not turned in at the fitting.

Equipment fittings for fins and paddles. Parents do not need to come – we will fit the kids as they arrive on deck (at both pools) and send home order form. It is helpful if swimmers know their shoe size. Bring any equipment you wish to trade in as early in the week as you can. Note we are buying used green and orange hand paddles for $9.00/pr, bring them in. See Equip info memo. Fitting Hours: Outdoors M - W 3:30 to 6:30 PM, Indoors M&W 4:30 to 6:30, Tues 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Zones are the highest Age group meet in the country for age group swimmers. Connecticut participates in the Eastern Zones against 11 others LSC's from northern Virginia to Maine. LC Zones have qualifying times. Parents are responsible for signing their swimmers up directly with CT Swimming during Age Group Championship meet.
